Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion and Gel vs Hada Labo Retinol Lifting Firming Lotion and Gel

Dear Guys,

today I am posting a video for a long overdue comparison of the very famous and my favourite Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion and Gel vs Hada Labo Retinol Lifting Firming Lotion and Gel (something I had high hopes for and something that has been very interesting interns of textures and ingredients but ultimately disappointing and un-usable)….to a point that I am throwing these products without finishing…..

Having loved Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion and Gel for more then a year now for a great and affordable hyaluronic acid treatment for my skin…I am ready to experiment with more Japanese Hyaluronic acid lotions, and I am very happy that my viewers have already recommended a few worthwhile options to checkout…as per the comments on my video….so on that note…before I try the new hyaluronic ranges…the original Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion and Gel  remain my must haves….here is official info on both products and my detailed Demo of all 4 products explaining why I prefer the original range to the Retinol range:

Thank you Lily interesting to hear your thoughts .. FYI scinic have a lotion bottle type hyaluronic I just noticed earlier, so probably a line of care with that.
    .
I have tried the 3 types of lotions and am onto my 3rd bottle Hyaluronic Gokujyun clear lotion toner.. mostly because think my skin needs the boost and in using with other products when I want it in there.. I know what you mean is not complete care though but I think skin needs it.
There is a milk lotion type as well and is more moisturising with the 3 types of hyaluronic in the updated version
Still, first 2 things I reach for when I get out of the shower and ontop of skin care.. Non irritating , no perfume, parabens.. in the toner/lotions anyway.

is interesting to hear about the gel for targeted areas under eye/smile areas because I keep reapplying there hoping to fill it, lol the eye socket has the largest amount of hyaluronic acid in the face. think you have put me on the right track with scinic pig collagen as well, hopefully the postman brings it this week.. you are a gem!

      1. Dear Dolly, do share your experience in regards to Scinic pig collagen…it is such a great item in my opinion:)..cheers…Lily

    2. Dear Dolly..Thank you for sharing…I may look into the milk type lotion from the original moisture line:)…best regards..Lily

I will let you know hwo the scinic piggy collagen goes 😀 “White Label” placenta lotion/toner is one I use and you might also like if you havn’t tried, has a picture of a baby on it loool. It has hyaluronic and hydrolysed collagen in the ingredients, ( and similar look to Hadalabo red slightly opaque without the stickiness of hadelabo) Probably less effective as a carrier/penetrating as hadelabo Gokujyun with 3 types but you would be able to gage that better. It does hydrate, takes skin feel soft and is lovely to use. Kanebo Ururi and Juju make 200ml hyaluronic toner/lotions but dont know what are like.

Am suprised Scinic or Mizon havn’t done a 500ml hyaluronic all in one toner/lotion bottle with 3 types of hyaluronic+ extracts+ anti wrinkle and the rest that needs to get into the skin first added for under $20. l’d buy it!

      2. Dear Dolly, thank you for sharing, i do hope that Scinic do a quality hualuronic product soon, the older versions i have tried from them were nice…but not great….cheers…lily

      3. Dolly

I have just bought the Scinic toner/lotion/serum hyaluronic set which I think is new (not the ampoule) with price a bit less than the toner/lotion Hadelabo I use, can’t read the instructions so dont know re molecule size, will tell you how that goes. It does also have some plant extracts added If it doesnt sink into my skin in a nano molecule or smaller way I won’t be a happy girl. I suspect I will be back onto Hadelabo after I satisfy my curiosity on that.

I absoultely Love the Scinic pig collagen you recommended and Mizon gold stafish (I think the starfish is my favourite, feels great on)

      4. Dear Dolly, thank you for sharing..best regards…Lily

hey Lily! i was wondering what the difference was in the Hada Labo perfect gel..i see on ebay 2 diferent packagings, one says 1 in 3 product and the other says 1 in 5 products..most actually say 1 in 5 on the packaging. Are they same thing??
And another question, can i use the hyaluronic acid lotion (toner) as a wrinkle preventer? Do the products do anything for wrinkles?
    Best regards, Thanks!!

    1. Dear Kloe, yes i saw the 3 in 1 version…and from my understanding it is an older version:)…also of course hyaluronic acid is an important ingredient to have in your anti-aging routine…it can be a lotion, cream or a serum…whichever product your prefer or perhaps a combination of products and textures:)….cheers…lily

      1. kloe

Lily, its me again! I was just wondering, do you put Hada Labo hyaluronic acid before or after your toner? I know that this product itself is a toner but i also use another toner i like. How should i layer this?

        Thanks!!!

      2. Dear Kloe…I really thing on the day that you use Hada labo..you don’t need another toner…if you still use a tone…then perhaps wait 5 minutes or so…I think it can be used both way..either under or over a toner…this would really depend on the toner that you are using…what I mean is…if it is a gel or a liquid toner….I think experimenting here…is your best bet…to see which method your skin responds to best….i hope this helps….kind regards…Lily
